In a medium bowl, whisk together:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
In another bowl, cream together:
1/2 cup (1stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
Beat in 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the dry ingrdients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in 1 to 2 cups semisweet
chocolate chips (depending on your preference).
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded
tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
